Custom bushings from electrical-insulation materials
We manufacture insulating, structural, and antifriction bushings to customer drawings.
The main method is CNC turning. Precision up to 0.01 mm on individual diameters and fit dimensions is confirmed after review of the material, length, wall thickness, and drawing requirements.
Which bushings we make
We make bushings with outer and inner diameters, chamfers, grooves, flanges, steps, and thread when needed. For thin-walled bushings we separately verify deformation during machining and inspection.
Cast nylon and textolite are used for antifriction and structural bushings. Glass-textolite and EPGC — for electrical-insulation bushings. PTFE is used for parts with enhanced chemical resistance, but its mechanical strength must be considered in the node calculation.
Technical parameters
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Method | CNC turning |
| Diameter tolerance | Up to 0.01 mm on selected dimensions after drawing review |
| Coaxiality | Per drawing requirements and technological feasibility |
| Outer diameter | From [to be specified] to [to be specified] mm |
Materials
| Material | Grades | When to use |
|---|---|---|
| Cast nylon | PA-6, PA-6-MO | Anti-friction bushings, plain bearings, bronze replacement after load check |
| Glass-textolite | STEF, EPGC 203/308 | Insulating bushings in high-voltage units |
| PTFE | Ф-4, PTFE | Chemically resistant bushings; do not select without load verification |
| Textolite | PT, PTK | Structural bushings and friction parts under confirmed conditions |
Where they are used
Bushings are used in sliding bearings, metallurgical and machine-building equipment, transformers, high-voltage bushings, chemical pumps, agitators, and marine mechanisms. For moving nodes it is important to specify load, speed, lubrication, temperature, and contact environment.
Quality control
- outer and inner diameters;
- coaxiality if specified;
- length and end faces;
- grooves, chamfers, collars;
- surface and edge quality.
