Manufacturing of complex-shape parts on a 5-axis machining center
We manufacture parts with complex spatial geometry from electrical-insulation and structural materials to customer drawings and 3D models.
5-axis machining is used when the part requires processing from several sides, complex transitions, and control over the mutual position of surfaces.

When a 5-axis center is needed
With 3-axis machining, a complex part often has to be re-set up. Each re-setup increases the risk of positioning error, especially where concentricity, perpendicularity, and mutual placement of surfaces matter.
5-axis machining processes several planes and spatial elements in fewer setups. This matters for parts with inclined surfaces, radial transitions, complex cut-outs, and requirements for mutual placement of elements.
Which parts it suits
- parts machined on several non-parallel planes;
- parts with complex radial transitions and cut-outs;
- non-standard geometry that is difficult on 3-axis equipment;
- parts with tight requirements for mutual placement of surfaces;
- prototypes and small runs where a press mold is not economical.
Technical parameters
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Method | 5-axis CNC milling |
| Equipment | [to be specified: 5-axis center model, work envelope] |
| Tolerance | Up to 0.01 mm on selected operations and parts after drawing review |
| Maximum workpiece size | [to be specified] |
Materials
We machine glass-textolite STEF and EPGC, textolite, PTFE, cast nylon, Durostone, Delmat, and other materials.
For complex geometry it is important to consider not only the material grade but its machining behavior: brittleness, chipping tendency, thin-wall deformation, edge and roughness requirements.
