Warranty and quality control
of parts by drawing
Every part is inspected against the drawing before shipping. If the product does not match the agreed requirements through our fault — we rework it at our expense.
Our warranty
Quality control is built into every stage of the manufacturing process: the material is checked before launch, dimensions are controlled during machining, the finished part is accepted by QC before shipment.
Incoming material control
Before launching production we check the material: grade, thickness, conformity to the supplier's certificate and to the order requirements. Material without confirmed characteristics is not put into production.
In-process control
The operator measures dimensions during machining. This allows deviations to be detected before the part is completed — not after the entire batch is produced.
Final QC inspection
Before packing, every part is inspected against the drawing.
- dimensions — conformity to the dimensions specified in the drawing;
- tolerances — checked against every allowed deviation;
- threaded connections — verified with a gauge;
- surface finish — visual and instrumental inspection;
- material grade — cross-check with the supplier's certificate.
Measuring tools: callipers, depth gauges, micrometers, protractors, metric thread gauges, tape measures, rulers, feeler gauges.
Documents
| Document | What it confirms |
|---|---|
| Quality certificate (part passport) | Conformity of the part to the drawing and technical requirements |
| Material conformity certificate | Grade, characteristics and batch of the material from the supplier |
| Delivery note | Item names, quantity and cost |
| VAT-invoice (22%) | Basis for tax accounting |
| Packing list | Batch composition by line items |
On request we also provide
- measurement report per part
- GOST standard for the material
- technical specifications for the material, if it is produced under TU
What the warranty covers
The warranty covers conformity of the manufactured parts to the customer's drawing in terms of geometric dimensions, tolerances and material grade.
Warranty conditions
The warranty applies if:
- parts are operated under conditions that match the material's technical characteristics;
- the deviation from the drawing did not result from mechanical damage during installation or operation;
- the claim is filed within the warranty period;
- the request is accompanied by photographs, measurements and order documents.
What is not a warranty case
The following are not warranty cases:
- damage during transportation due to the carrier's fault;
- non-conformity of the part to operating conditions when the material grade was chosen by the customer without input from Electrocomposite;
- natural wear during operation;
- damage during installation or storage.
If the part does not conform to the drawing due to our fault, we rework it at our own expense. We pay for delivery of the new batch.
Claim procedure
Record the deviation
Photograph the part, the point of non-conformity and the packaging. Take measurements if possible. Keep the accompanying documents.
Contact us
Write to us by email or via messenger. Written confirmation speeds up review and eliminates ambiguity.
Receive the decision
Within 2 calendar days we communicate the decision: rework, replacement or compensation.
Receive the corrected batch
After the claim is confirmed we launch the corrected batch into production. The lead time matches the original order, unless a different one is agreed. Shipping is at our expense.
Material certificates
We work with verified suppliers and source materials with supporting documents.
A certificate for a specific material can be requested after the order is placed. If the certificate is needed for pre-approval of the supplier or material, mention this in the inquiry — we will check whether the document can be provided before the order launch.
